<p style="text-align: justify;">David Singleton à fait la démonstration d&rsquo;une petite voiture télécommandée par un smartphone (Nexus) sous android en utilisant le signal radio. De manière sommaire, le téléphone android envoie le flux vidéo de la camera à un logiciel qu&rsquo;on va appeler « conducteur » installé dans un ordinateur. Ce conducteur peut envoyer des commandes à la voiture et possède aussi une interface utilisateur vous permettant de prendre le contrôle du véhicule à tout moment. Mais pour que le conducteur dirige automatiquement, il faut une autre application qui fonctionnera comme un cerveau en analysant les images et en prenant des décisions. Par exemple devant un obstacle ou bien si la voiture se rapproche dangereusement du trottoir, il peut envoyer une commande d&rsquo;arrêt ou bien dire à la voiture de contourner l&rsquo;obstacle en allant à droite ou à gauche.
